Private Consultation Fees

Dietician consultation is privately billed in our clinic, however there might be some rebates from medicare or your private insurance.

You can find her fees based on the duration of consultation.

*Medicare benefit of $52.95 which requires the patient to have a Chronic Disease Management Plan with TCA / GPMP in place. If you have private health insurance with extras cover you may also be eligible for a rebate.

What happens in a nutrition consultation?

Our Dietitian will ask you about your diet, lifestyle and medical history and why you want to make changes to your diet.

You will work together to develop specific goals and action steps to make positive changes to your diet. Joey will provide information, resources and recipes to support you.

A meal plan can be tailored for you after keeping a food diary for 1 week. This allows your diet to be analysed for nutritional adequacy and a meal plan can be tailored to your current eating pattern and preferences whilst adding in nutrients you may not be getting enough of or reducing those you’re getting too much of.

*Personalised 2 week meal plan including recipes is an additional cost of $120.

What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is having your awareness in the present moment with an accepting and non-judgemental attitude. It is a state of mind, a way of being that is helpful to reduce stress and live a happier life. Mindfulness practice has been shown to reduce chronic pain, depression, anxiety, to improve memory and work performance and the list goes on!

We are living in such a fast paced world that it is essential for our health to learn how to rest the mind and manage stress effectively. In a stress management consult Joey will help you develop skills in relaxation, meditation and mindfulness and coach you in how to effectively incorporate more relaxing activities into your life.

Healthy Habits Program

Runs according to demand. Minimum 6 people for a group (max 10).

1.5 hour group session for 6 weeks.Includes activities to complete at home, info is emailed to you and 3 course meal shared in last session.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program

1.5hr group session for 6 weeks. Learn to meditate and be mindful in everyday life. Learn relaxation while sitting, standing and walking.
